Wizkid’s 2025 Features, Ranked From Good to Great

For years, fans and critics have complained about how sparingly Wizkid lends his voice to other artists. Since entering the veteran phase of his career, the Starboy has mostly kept to himself, occasionally popping up on a record but rarely giving us a string of guest verses. This marks a sharp contrast to the earlier stages of his career, particularly between 2011 and 2013, when he was generous with features, elevating every record to hit status with even the mildest touch.

2025 feels different. This year alone, Wiz has been more generous with features than he’s been in a long while, and the results have sparked excitement across Afrobeats. Whether it’s reuniting with old collaborators like Maleek Berry, experimenting with global sounds alongside David Guetta, or cosigning a rising star like Fola, Wizkid’s feature run this year has been remarkable.

Here’s a ranking of all his 2025 features, from good to truly great.

8. Situation – Maleek Berry

Wizkid and Maleek Berry have proven to be a lethal combination, delivering hit songs together on various occasions. So, when Maleek Berry announced his latest album, it was almost a no-brainer that a collaboration between the two would be featured on the album. And, sure enough, the song “Situation” finally delivers on that expectation. While nostalgic and melodic, it doesn’t quite hit the heights of their earlier classics. Still, hearing them back together feels like a gift to fans.

7. Lighter – A7S & David Guetta

This collaboration brings David Guetta and A7S into Wizkid’s orbit as the Afropop giant continues to expand his reach into EDM-pop territory. The record is smooth, polished and has the feel of a global hit record, but it lacks the signature Afrobeats warmth that characterizes his best guest appearances.

6. Kai! – Olamide

On Kai, the first of two heavyweight collaborations between Olamide and Wizkid in 2025, the legends keep things playful and light-hearted, flowing over a steady and infectious groove. It’s catchy enough and carries a fun vibe that makes for an easy listen.

5. Gimme Dat – Ayra Starr

With Ayra Starr, Wizkid delivers a sweet, mid-tempo track in Gimme Dat. The record samples Wyclef Jean’s classic records ‘Diallo’ and ‘911’ featuring Mary J Blige. Gimme Dat’ is the second collaboration between both stars after Ayra Starr appeared on ‘2 Sugar’ off Wizkid’s fifth ‘More Love, Less Ego’. Their chemistry is palpable as they compliment each other with dreamy melodies and Lamba driven yet heartfelt lyrics.

4. Dynamite – Tyla

This collaboration with South African sensation Tyla is one of the year’s most fluid Afropop link-ups. Tyla and Wizkid’s voices blend effortlessly over the banging, Caribbean-influenced instrumental, as the two craft a record guaranteed to ignite passion and fuel desire under the sheets. Recorded in 2022, the song feels more fresh than dated, with its infectious rhythm and the duo’s chemistry lending the song a charm that makes it replay-worthy.

3. One Condition – DJ Tunez & Fola

Driven by thumping log drums, bright horns, and layered shakers, One Condition finds Wizkid serenading his love interest. What makes the track captivating is the soft, almost whispered delivery and the smooth back-and-forth between Wiz and Fola. Produced by Ozedikus, the record plays like a contemporary tale of romance laced with sensual undertones carrying all the elements of a standout record.

2. Forever Be Mine – Gunna

An unexpected highlight. Teaming with American rapper Gunna on his latest album, The Last Wun, Wizkid dives into a trap-R&B fusion that unsurprisingly fits his style. His trap flow and melodic delivery glides over the beat, complementing Gunna’s breezy flow and elevating the record from decent to great proving once again that his versatility stretches far beyond the limits of Afrobeats.

1. Billionaires Club – Olamide & Darkoo

The standout of the bunch. With Olamide and Darkoo, Wizkid anchors Billionaires Club with one of the year’s most addictive verses. His standout verse glides effortlessly with charm and subtle advice. It’s aspirational, catchy, and ties the song together effortlessly, showing why he remains a master of melodies. It’s effortless, commanding, and memorable, it’s Wizkid in his element.
